Prayer is essential for every person who desires to have a close and intimate relationship with God.  It is one of forms of worship to God in which we have the opportunity give verbal expression to God and God responds in a number of ways.

 

Prayer is a great opportunity to thank God for his manifold blessings. It is a great opportunity to help others whether they know it or not.  It is a great opportunity to strengthen us all.  Prayer is not optional, it is necessary for every child of God to remain strong in the spirit.

 

The famous pastor, preacher, and humanitarian, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said,"To be a Christian without prayer is no more possible than to be alive without breathing."
